The tenmoku glaze effect along the mouth of the bowl takes on the look of aged copper – muted brass tones speckled with hints of green and blue. Some areas where the glaze effect is especially pronounced, are reminiscent of mother-of-pearl. Please note that while the outer wall is ribbed, the inside of the bowl is smooth.
