Handmade rough clay teapot for gong-fu style brewing. Lovely patches and crater spots, with a wave pattern etched along the rim. Handle formed from bamboo. The teapot has a ball filter at the spout.
Made by a studio in Jingdezhen, the historic pottery capital of China.

As a crafted ceramic item, there will be variations in colours and glaze effects from the item’s photo. With rough clay items, dips and markings are a natural effect of the material.

Please note that this teapot is meant for gong fu brewing and is thus a significantly smaller size than Western style teapots. Gong fu brewing uses a large amount of leaves to a small volume of water, combined with short steeping times. This style of brewing is the best way to obtain a delicious and intense flavour from quality tea leaves.
